In this Academy, leaders and a core behavior team will be guided in depth to reimagine their schoolwide approach to behavior. In a series of touchpoints that blend planning, learning, observation and coaching, your school will transform your school culture. Your team will be led to cultivate important adult mindsets, norm on schoolwide expectations, nurture the right teacher behavior strategies, create schoolwide positive recognition systems, ensure responses to unwanted behaviors are consistent, and adopt proactive data-driven practices. As a result, your school will move from reactive to proactive, from fragmented to consistent, and from punitive to positive so that your students have a learning environment in which they thrive.
Remote Data and practice check-in’s
A constant cycle of office referrals takes time away from student learning. In this Academy, campus leaders and a core behavior team will work with a Proven Practices coach to create a strong schoolwide MTSS behavior plan that includes expectations, recognition systems, protocols for consistent responses, and data practices. You will monitor the progress of your plan throughout the year using remote data cycles and onsite observations, ensuring your school achieves positive behavior outcomes you’ve identified.

In this Academy, your district leadership team will gain focused guidance to drive behavior and culture transformation across schools. Through guided planning, learning, observation, data reflection, collaboration, and coaching, your team will develop systems and practices that align with and maximize PowerSchool Behavior Support. You’ll establish shared expectations, consistent schoolwide practices, and proactive data routines that support continuous improvement and positive behavior outcomes. Leaders will also learn key strategies to equip staff in reducing the impact of trauma and strengthening student resilience.
Remote data and practice leadership check-ins occur throughout the project
School staff often spend too much time managing problem behavior due to weak Tier 1 MTSS systems. In this Academy, district leaders and campus representatives will plan essential schoolwide behavior practices for all schools and determine how to best leverage PowerSchool Behavior Support to meet district goals. The team will set clear expectations and learn the strategies, mindsets, and data routines needed to ensure success.
