Catered Event Meals

The PSU Learning Experience

We want you to leave PowerSchool University with all of your questions answered. You’ll work directly within PowerSchool solutions and receive step-by-step, hands-on training throughout every course. This specialized training allows you to return to your district and immediately implement what you’ve learned.

You will also receive special, extended PSU access to a sample of our PD+ self-paced training.

Ryan Imbriale, Group Vice President,
Head of Worldwide Education

Ryan Imbriale has spent his career focused on how pioneering practices can empower student learning. He is the Vice President and Head of Worldwide Education for PowerSchool and is responsible for deepening the organization’s educational focus and understanding of the K-12 space both in North America and Globally. Prior to joining PowerSchool, he was Executive Director of Innovative Learning for the Baltimore County Public Schools and was responsible for leading the system’s work on personalized learning, student choice programming and comprehensive educational programs designed to address a diverse student population. Ryan has been in education for more than 30 years as a teacher, high school principal, district administrator and higher education administrator.

Fred Scott, Solution Engineer

Fred Scott is a veteran K-12 educator and national presenter with over 34 years of experience as a teacher, principal, instructional technology director, and PD & HR district administrator in Virginia. Known for his leadership in instructional technology, professional development, and talent management, Fred earned the nickname “TalentFRED” for his innovative work in performance evaluation and technology.

At PowerSchool, Fred has been a Strategic Education Advisor, Senior Education Impact Consultant, and now Solution Engineer. He has presented to school systems in 49 states, over 500 districts, Canada, and Greece, helping them see the value of the talent solutions to recruit, develop, and support educators. His deep understanding of district operations and strategic initiatives makes him a trusted advisor to education leaders nationwide.Fred is also the author of TalentFRED: Unveiling Your Potential, a book that has inspired educators and appeared on his local news channel.

Something Fun Awaits in Austin

We’re planning an exciting social event to bring everyone together in true Austin style! Think great food, local vibes, and plenty of opportunities to relax and connect with your fellow PSU attendees. Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing more about the location, entertainment, and everything else we have in store. You won’t want to miss it!

Dust off your boots for a night of true Austin nightlife, featuring the vocals of Lucas Hudgins, a household name to country music fans in Texas. Join us at the Belmont for a reception with the opportunity to socialize with your fellow PowerSchool users on Wednesday, February 25, followed by live music and dancing.

Influenced by Bob Wills, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and George Jones, Lucas Hudgins has been called “Honky Tonk Moses” for his traditional country sound and timeless lyrical themes of nightlife and heartache.

The Belmont is approximately 4 minutes on foot (0.5 miles) from the JW Marriott Austin. Guests are responsible for getting themselves to and from the venue.

The cost of the social event is included in your PSU Austin registration, but all PSU attendees must RSVP for this event. Attendees may bring a single guest for the discounted rate of $125.

To sign up for or decline this event, go to My Registrations and click RSVP under Exclusives. There is no additional cost for your participation in the social event.

If you wish to bring a single guest, you must RSVP by February 13 by selecting Attending with Guest and providing their name. Guest tickets are available at the discounted rate of $125, payable in advance via CVENT.

In an effort to control event cost, PowerSchool University will not have replacement laptops available.

To actively participate in hands-on activities and to access curriculum, bring a laptop with you. Your laptop must have administrative access in order to download any required content or programs.

Please work with your IT department to ensure you have access.  Learn more about hardware recommendations.

PowerSchool University is casual, so please wear what is comfortable to you. Keep in mind that temperatures in the meeting spaces can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a sweater and dressing in layers.

A Certificate of Participation will be made available to all participants on Customer Education Campus. Instructions for accessing the certificate will be sent via email at the conclusion of the event.

PSU Austin sessions and meals will take place at the JW Marriott Austin. We’ve arranged a nightly discount rate of $339 + tax USD.

Parking is available at the JW Marriott at the rate of $24 USD per day for self-parking or $69 USD per day for valet.   

To cancel your registration, please email psu@powerschool.com as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 p.m. (PT) on Friday, Jan 23, 2026. Any cancellation request received after this date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If you cannot attend and do not cancel your request, you will be responsible for the full registration fee.
