Choosing Your PowerSchool University (PSU) Event

PowerSchool University offers a variety of events tailored to meet your diverse training needs. Whether you prefer the rapid pace of PSU Express, the extended learning and networking opportunities at PSU Engage, the convenience of in-person instruction and access to 1-on-1 support with PSU Onsite events, or the flexibility of PSU Remote Plus, we have an event that aligns with your schedule and learning style. Each event is designed with distinct features to help you make the most of your PowerSchool solutions!

What's included with tuition?

Tuition for PSU Engage includes the following amenities:

21/2 Days of Training

Attend two and a half days of training within PowerSchool solutions to gain hands-on professional development for novice to advanced PowerSchool users.

Individual Assistance

Take advantage of Open Lab to get individual help on your own data.

Catered Event Meals

Enjoy continental breakfast on all instructional days and lunch on full instructional days.

PD+ Sampler Series

Gain access to PSU’s PD+ Sampler Series, a collection of e-Learning courses and videos for viewing any time you want.

Networking Event

Join us after class on day 2 for a cocktail reception to meet and mingle with fellow PowerSchool users and staff.

What to Expect at Check In

During check-in, you’ll receive:

  • PowerSchool University mementos
  • Instructions for accessing the network and curriculum
  • Networking opportunities with other attendees

Attendees must bring a laptop to participate in this hands-on training.  Please bring it with you during check-in time. Learn more about hardware recommendations.

PSU Check In
Attire – What to Wear

PowerSchool University is casual, so please wear what is comfortable to you. Keep in mind that temperatures in the hotel and convention center rooms can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a sweater and dressing in layers.

Certificate of Participation

A Certificate of Participation will be made available to all participants on Customer Education Campus. Instructions for accessing the certificate will be sent via email at the conclusion of the event.

Event Location

Conveniently located by the Toronto Pearson International Airport, the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre puts you near the Toronto Congress Centre, CF Sherway Gardens, Royal Woodbine Golf Course, the International Centre and downtown Toronto.  Unwind in stylish hotel rooms and suites with convenient amenities or relax in the heated indoor pool with sky dome after a workout in the 24-hour fitness centre.

Hotel Information

PSU Engage: Toronto session and meals will be held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre.  Watch for more details on hotel guest rooms coming soon.  PSU has arranged a discounted guest room rate of $229 CAD + taxes and fees per night.

Book your room at the preferred rate by September 9, 2024 through the PSU online reservation link or by calling +1 416-675-6100.  Any rooms booked after September 9 may not receive the discounted rate.

  • Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis
  • Reservations made after September 9 are accepted based on availability and may not receive the conference rate
  • A credit deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each reservations
  • The preferred rate is available three days prior and three days after the event, based on availability
  • Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 pm

 

Travel Information

Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the recommended airport, approximately 3.5 kilometres from the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre. 

Various transportation options are available from YYZ to the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre, but the most economical option is the Sheraton’s complimentary airport 24/7 shuttle, leaving every 30 minutes.  Meet the shuttle at post P41 for terminal 3 and post S1 for terminal 1.  (For arrivals between 12:00 am and 5:30 am, please call +1 416-675-6100 for pickup.) 

Parking is available onsite at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre for a daily rate of $28 CAD. 

Cancelation Policy

To cancel your registration, please email psu@powerschool.com as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 p.m. (PT) on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Any cancellation request received after this date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If you cannot attend and do not cancel your request, you will be responsible for the full registration fee.
