PSU Social Event

Join us for a reception at the Omni Nashville for an opportunity to socialize with your fellow PowerSchool users on Tuesday, July 25th. Then, head to the Grand Ole Opry for a concert at the home of country music!

ALL ATTENDEES MUST RSVP FOR THE SOCIAL EVENT BY JUNE 16 TO ATTEND. 

Schedule

  • 4:30-6:00 pm: Reception at the Omni Nashville
  • 5:30-6:30 pm: Bus transportation to the Opry House
  • 7:00-9:00 pm: Concert at the Grand Ole Opry
  • 9:00-9:30 pm: Bus transportation to the Omni Nashville

To sign up for or decline this event, go to My Events, then My Registrations and click RSVP under Exclusives. The cost of this event is included with your PSU tuition. There is no additional cost for your participation in the social event.

If you wish to bring a single guest, you must RSVP by June 16 by selecting Attending with Guest and providing their name. Guest tickets are available at the rate of $150, payable in advance via CVENT.

Health and Wellness

Are you looking to prioritize your health and wellness? The PowerSchool University  team is committed to promoting educator wellness by helping you discover ways to address the physical and mental stress that your work environment can bring.

During PowerSchool University, we will offer bonus sessions and activities that focus on physical and mental health, as well as stress management and relaxation techniques to help you stay focused, energized, and motivated!

Sue Miller, LMT, NMT

Throughout the week, you’ll have opportunities to connect with neuromuscular therapist Sue Miller, LMT, NMT, for an exploration of how to reduce stress, improve mental health, and eliminate potential pain-causing behaviors. Sue will also host a wellness “support desk” where attendees can discuss their personal wellness challenges.

We encourage you to join us as we promote educator wellness for learning, growth, and self-care!

Attire – What to Wear

PowerSchool University is casual, so please wear what is comfortable to you. Keep in mind that temperatures in the meeting spaces can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a sweater and dressing in layers.

Conference Check Out

If you borrowed a device, please return it during check out time between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the last day of the event. 

Certificate of Participation

A Certificate of Participation will be made available to all participants. Instructions for accessing the certificate will be sent via email at the conclusion of the event.

Located on Fifth Avenue between Demonbreun and Korean Veterans Boulevard, Omni Nashville Hotel is a modern expression of the city’s distinct character, incorporating natural materials, exposed steel and regional limestone. The multi-story hotel and expanded museum share meeting and entertainment space and bring additional restaurants and retail venues to this dynamic destination in downtown Nashville.

Hotel Information

PSU Nashville sessions and meals take place at the Omni Nashville Hotel. We’ve arranged a nightly discount rate of $259 + taxes and fees and includes high-speed internet access.  

Book your room at the preferred rate by Friday, June 16 using the dedicated PSU online reservation site or call 615-782-5300. 

  • Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis
  • Reservations received after Friday, June 16 may not receive the discount conference rate and will be accepted based on availability
  • A credit card deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual reservation
  • Want to extend your stay? The preferred rate is available three days prior and three days after the event, based on availability.
  • Check-in time is 4:00 pm, check-out time is 11:00 am 
Travel Information
Recommended Airport is the Nashville International Airport (BNA), approximately 8 miles from the Omni Nashville Hotel. Various transportation options are available from BNA to Omni Nashville Hotel including ride shares and taxis. Driving directions from BNA to Omni Nashville Hotel are available on Google Maps Overnight valet parking is available at the Omni for $50 plus tax, per day/per vehicle. Alternatively, self-parking is available at the Music City Center garage adjacent to the hotel. Current MCC parking rates
Cancellation Policy

To cancel your registration, please email psu@powerschool.com as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 p.m. (PT) on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Any cancellation request received after this date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If you cannot attend and do not cancel your request, you will be responsible for the full registration fee.
